Many of the Suppliers listed offer a mail order service, but many of the products are also available locally through individual stores or in some cases, more widely through supermarkets and other retailers. Most have their own websites.

Most of the Demijohn products come, where possible, from local producers round Scotland. The latest addition to their range – Organic Rhubarb Vodka Liqueur - comes from an organic farmer in Invernesshire. Many of the products use locally sourced ingredients – sloes from the hedgerows, elderflowers from the lanes and raspberries from the raspberry fields of Angus – and most are only produced when the products are in season. Demijohn is linked strongly and recommended by Slow Food as it epitomises the drive for sourcing from local artisan producers using fair, clean and sustainable methods of production
