main event

Are you an events organiser looking for something different to do with your team or clients?

One of the greatest things about cooking is that is such a fantastic leveller. Forget abseiling, forget off-road driving, nothing breaks down corporate barriers like a souffl?hat refuses to rise!

We will be at the Main Event next week, so please pop by for a chat. The Main Event 2010 is a ‘one stop shop’ enabling organisers to experience what suppliers have to offer and helping all event organisers to make the maximum audience impact.

Come & meet us at the Main Event and we can talk you through all the different packages we have to offer.

The Main Event takes place at the SECC Glasgow on Thursday 11th March 2010 from 9.30am until 5.30pm. Register free via The Main Event website.. more info

If you’re looking for the perfect gift or maybe just adding to your culinary collection the following products might be just what you’re looking for. When it comes to ice cream, we’re an impatient lot which is why we recommend the Zyliss Ice Cream Scoop (£10). It’s strong enough to make quick work of even the most solid tub of delicious ice cream. Our Mortar and Pestle (£16.50) might not be the most high-tech item in our selection but there’s something to be said for a product that’s over 3000 years old and hasn’t aged a day! What’s in a name? When it comes to our Blinis Pan (£10), the answer is not much. Of course it’ll make perfect blinis but this little cast iron gem is also perfect for rostis, pancakes and even perfectly shaped fried eggs. If you’re looking to add a little flavour to your life you can’t go wrong with our CrushGrind Salt and Pepper Mills (£25 each). The manufacturer quite modestly calls them “the world’s best mills” and we’d be inclined to agree.
