Michael Smith is one of Scotland's foremost chefs and the undisputed star of Skye's thriving culinary scene. He is Chef Patron of Loch Bay restaurant on the island and achieved a well deserved Michelin star in the 2018 guide.

Michael is an outstanding chef, he spent 11 years at Skye's famous Three Chimneys Restaurant, in 2016 he became Chef Patron of Loch Bay restaurant at Stein, also on the Isle of Skye.
His speciality is inventing modern Scottish dishes - here with a French twist, always with plenty of fresh fish and seafood from our wonderful natural larder. This is a rare chance to cook with him and eat some outstanding food, without having to travel to the Hebrides!
The day costs £195 per person and is part of our Scottish chefs week, the other days will host Tony Singh, Gary MacLean, Jamie Scott & Guy Grieve.
